چکیده

The development of controller usually involves two major steps: A design step in which a generalised plant is constructed, followed by a synthesis step in which an optimisation problem is solved for the generalised plant. Frequency-Domain analysis methods are commonly used in the design step; for example loop-shaping. In this paper we develop a new frequency-domain analysis method for periodic operators. Speciically, we deene the average-power gain matrix, which for a periodic operator characterises the average power of the asymptotic (\steady-state") response to a sinusoidal input of a single frequency. To illustrate an application of the new analysis method we show how to use the average-power gain matrix in the H 1 loop-shaping design of sampled-data, closed-loop systems.

Application of Single-Frequency Time-Space Filtering Technique for Seismic Ground Roll and Random Noise Attenuation

Time-frequency filtering is an acceptable technique for attenuating noise in 2-D (time-space) and 3-D (time-space-space) reflection seismic data. The common approach for this purpose is transforming each seismic signal from 1-D time domain to a 2-D time-frequency domain and then denoising the signal by a designed filter and finally transforming back the filtered signal to original time domain. ...

Frequency domain analysis of transient flow in pipelines; application of the genetic programming to reduce the linearization errors

The transient flow analyzing by the frequency domain method (FDM) is computationally much faster than the method of characteristic (MOC) in the time domain. FDM needs no discretization in time and space, but requires the linearization of governing equations and boundary conditions. Hence, the FDM is only valid for small perturbations in which the system’s hydraulics is almost linear. In this st...

Attenuation of spatial aliasing in CMP domain by non-linear interpolation of seismic data along local slopes

Spatial aliasing is an unwanted side effect that produces artifacts during seismic data processing, imaging and interpolation. It is often caused by insufficient spatial sampling of seismic data and often happens in CMP (Common Mid-Point) gather. To tackle this artifact, several techniques have been developed in time-space domain as well as frequency domain such as frequency-wavenumber, frequen...

H 1 Design of General Multirate Sampled-data Control Systems

Direct digital design of general multirate sampled-data systems is considered. To tackle causality constraints, a new and natural framework is proposed using nest operators and nest algebras. Based on this framework explicit solutions to the H 1 and H 2 multirate control problems are developed in the frequency domain.
